Local issues

Where I stand on the issues people in this riding actually raise with me — written out in full, not reduced to a slogan.

Council reports

Bringing people together to tackle big challenges

As a City Councillor and Regional Director, my work has focused on housing, economic development, and community support. Beyond council meetings, it’s about creating spaces where people can connect, share ideas, and find solutions together. Strengthening these connections helps us build a more resilient and supportive community.

I write up what happened at council and at the Regional District in plain language, because the official minutes are not built for people with jobs.

Latest report

March 4th, 2025 — Regular Council: the RDCK budget and a 9.4% property tax increase for Nelson, childcare and early educators, the long-term campus review, joint resource recovery, and the Nelson Neighbour Network.

I’ve always known Keith Page to be a strong, progressive voice of reason. His exceptional ability to communicate issues clearly and objectively, always basing his arguments on the facts on the ground, sets him apart.
